4030- RARE framed lot to Australian ww1 serving with RNAS division 1916
Petty Officer John William Pincott DSM
Pincott served in Russia and Turkish Armenia and was awarded his DSM for work in the Galician retreat.
This framed lot is ex collection of Mr Peter Aitkin & many a collector would have Known Peter & of his collection & work with the Canberra War memorial, he was a real gentleman. This was purchased by a good friend of mine direct from Peter before he passed away & I have just bought it now in Feb 2019.
Very very rare to have some RNAS stuff that is ID'd to an Australian soldier.
