Very nice Antique dagger that we believe to be Scottish ?? Its a Rondel style Dirk dagger, if its not Scottish I have no idea where it would have originated from. The pommel is identical to some of the ones on my Scottish swords
Bone handle plates with brass studs & lovely iron fittings.
good quality double edged steel blade, a couple of small spots of light pitting but very small & very minimal & light. Tip has been ever so slightly altered at some stage as you can see where some moron has tampered with it slightly but that's no big deal on the broad scale of things. It may have had the very tip of the blade slightly rounded OR broken off & someone in their wisdom has attempted to re point it. however its no big deal- Very neat piece.
