Large antique prismatic compass Surveyors tool by Brush and Macdonnell Sydney , from research this firm was operating from 1850 to 1869 , it still works fine, but the fine hair or string on the site is broken, easily replaced if need be. Note the edge of the dial inside the liquid has a few knocks etc but as stated it works as it should, complete with its original leather case. I cannot find another for sale anywhere, only in museums
