[ AN940 ] 4 drawer telescope in original case probably ww1 snipers Spotters scope

4 drawer telescope in original case probably ww1 snipers Spotters scope ,possibly a French snipers spotters scope ?
as its much like our spotters scopes, this could be earlier than ww1 ? i couldn't find out much about the maker, I found one for sale on the net for $1000 USD , mine is a bit cheaper than that,The lenses are all intact, the leather wrap is like new, I had a look through it but its blurred to me, the glass may need a clean on the outside & maybe the inside, as i know nothing about them i wont attempt to pull it apart.
