ww1 German Prussian EM pickelhaube field grey fittings, overall, a fairly tidy example with the usual wear & tear.
Some stitching has let go on the visor but there doesn't seem to be any or much movement, Liner could possibly be a period replacement as its quite thin leather but it has a lot of age to it so it may well be the original, there is what looks to be a small hole that's been plugged in the skull at the rear of the helmet.
chin strap is original, skull has a few scuffs & some moderate crazing, its a good example of a wartime helmet thats been there done that
