[ b1191 ] Silver mounted Scottish dirk

Description

Decoratively engraved silver fittings in woven Celtic patterned designs. With monogrammed initials to the front of the scabbard ,rear of locket is marked with 4 silver hallmark's T.E, below that is the letter "V" a castle and a thistle.- dirk dates to 1926 & the maker is Thomas Kerr Ebbut. Pommel bears regal crown in relief.All black leather is in great condition with only slight wear
Nice timber handle well carved but does have an age crack as seen in images ,Knife & fork both present but the knife is missing its small silver cap, any silver smith or jeweller could make one so its no big deal, quite a good blade, has some pitting mostly in the fullers, standard scalloped back edge
