ww2 US contract Fairbairne Sykes 2nd pat dagger ,this is from my own personal collection, From what i could find in my research these were contracted to the US ,I have 2 in my collection with identical hilts but one has a wider blade then most, Both daggers are void of any marks, Neither have scabbards ,They are NOT the OSS knives that had the pancake flipper scabbards, this is made just like the British FS knife, they both originally came from the collection of Mr Peter Aitken who sadly passed in recent years
