This is a beautiful shinto sword,blade housed in shirasaya & it has a set of very nice koshirae,100% flawless, just over 26.5 inch long cutting edge ,thick heavy & very healthy blade with great balance, blade is signed Yoshi Naga, nothing to fault anywhere on the blade,
Superb hada throughout , very nice suguha hamon with nice turn back on boshi .

Menuki : Large Shakudo dragons with gold highlights
Scabbard : Saya - Black roiro saya
Shiraysa is of high quality, finished with polished horn & Ivory eyelet
Purchased from Mr Neville Mathews around 18 years ago & has been in my collection ever since, for anyone who knew Neville they will know just how much knowledge he had , he was very highly respected world wide in the Nihonto world.
The sword is not papered but I guarantee it will get papers in a heart beat & it can be sent to shinsa just as it is.
